Lovely small hotel exactly as expected. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Food choices were excellent . Communal areas clean , towels and bedding changed regularly.
Although we knew it was a good walk to Beach seemed further than anticipated but lovely walk. Only criticism would be restaurant space when busy very difficult to navigate between tables with plates of food space very cramped.

WiFi was very bad. It was working only in some areas near the pool and at the restaurant. No wifi in any part of our room.

What was the highlight of Filoxenia Hotel Zakynthos
Totally worth the money! I recommend Filoxenia hotel for a place near the beach and the city.
The staff was super friendly and willing to help, always smiling. The room was cleaned daily and also we got new towels everyday. The parking lot near the hotel was ideal. The food was delicious, everyday there was a different menu: a variation pf salads, cooked meals, pies, soups every evening etc.
The water was salted and we weren’t able to wash properly. You need to wash the salty water from the sea. I totally understand how water works on the island, but we were in different locations and the water was fine, not salted.

Served a purpose but too far out
Late booking due to arrival time. The room was large, comfortable and had a lovely bathroom. Seating area outside and direct to pool.
The decor wasn’t to our taste. It wouldn’t be a place I would stay a long time. The location on the map on Booking.com is incorrect. It states it’s in the main town when actually it is out of town and a good 15mins walk in. Felt this was misrepresented.
